The Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu is managed by the Fundació de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu.

The Fundació de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu is an entity created in 2002 to cover research activities, both in the biomedical and in the field the social, in the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital, in the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu and in other centres of the Orden Hospitalaria Sant Joan de Déu - Provincia de España.
