Introduction:
Eurostars is part of the European Partnership for Innovative SMEs, co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe. In Spain, the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) funds the R&D costs for SMEs participating in the Eurostars program.

General Description:
The Eurostars call is designed to support collaborative and innovative research and development (R&D) projects led by SMEs. Projects should focus on industrial research or experimental development.

Objectives:

• Foster international collaboration in R&D projects.
• Support SMEs in developing innovative products, processes, or services.
• Facilitate market entry for new technologies.

Eligibility criteria
1. Consortium led by an innovative SME from a Eurostars country.
2.   At least two independent entities from two participating countries.
3.   SME budget ≥ 50% of the project.
4.   No single country or participant must exceed 70% of the budget.
5.   Duration ≤ 36 months.
6.   Exclusively civilian project.

CDTI national criteria
- Only SMEs with tax residence in Spain are eligible.
- Public companies are not eligible (except public limited companies).
- SMEs must have submitted their last annual accounts.
- Start date after project approval by Eureka.
- Activities funded ≤ 36 months (possible justified extensions).
