Call under Cluster 1 "Health" of Horizon Europe for the financing of collaborative projects, complementary actions and coordination through different topics or themes.

Below are the characteristics of the topics whose deadline for sending applications ends on September 19, 2023 and whose application process is in two phases. 

Specifically, through these topics, research and innovation actions will be financed (RIA - Research and Innovation actions).

These topics are structured in five different destinations:

Destination 1 - Staying healthy in a rapidly changing society

• HORIZONHLTH-2024-STAYHLTH-01-02-two-stage: Towards a holistic support to children and adolescents' health and care provisions in an increasingly digital society. 30M € budget for financing three projects (8-10M €/project).

• HORIZONHLTH-2024-STAYHLTH-01-05-two-stage: Personalised prevention of non- communicable diseases - addressing areas of unmet needs using multiple data sources. 50M € budget for financing five projects (8-12M €/project).

Destination 2. Living and working in a health-promoting environment

• HORIZON-HLTH-2024-ENVHLTH-02-06-two-stage: The role of environmental pollution in non-communicable diseases: air, noise and light and hazardous waste pollution. 60M € budget for financing eight projects (7-8M €/project).

Destination 4. Ensuring access to innovative, sustainable and high-quality health care

• HORIZON-HLTH-2024-CARE-04-04-two-stage: Access to health and care services for people in vulnerable situations. 30M € budget for financing cincop projects (4-6M €/project).

Destination 5. Unlocking the full potential of new tools, technologies and digital solutions for a healthy society

• HORIZON-HLTH-2024-TOOL-05-06-two-stage: Innovative non-animal human-based tools and strategies for biomedical research. 25M € budget for financing four projects (4-8M €/project). 

Requirements of the Applicants:

• Any legal entity belonging to an EU member or associated country may participate.
• Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) will require the formation of transnational consortia consisting of at least one entity legally established in an EU Member State and two entities from member or associated countries
