Objective

Provide training in translational research in European centers with an international reputation in the fieldImprove career development through collaboration with European institutions of excellenceProvide the necessary support to develop specific high-quality translational research projects in oncology

Amount and duration

35,000€  for 1 year

Host institutes receive 1,000€ for administration costs

Second year prolongation, including additional 35,000€, upon request and subsequent approval.

Application requirements

Candidates must:

Be a Full or Junior ESMO member (or apply for membership)

Be an oncologists with at least 1 year experience in medical, radiation or surgical oncology

Be under the age of 40

Be proficient in English

Application must include:

Completed online application form

Digital photograph

Detailed description of research project proposal including timeline

Brief statement of project goals and how the acquired techniques will be used in the home institute/country

Name of host institute and acceptance letter from the person responsible for the project at the host facility

Letter of recommendation from the candidate's department head
