Objective of the call
This call will aim to co-fund national or transnational projects tackling at least one of the following grounds of discrimination of Art. 19 Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU): racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation.
Priorities
Project proposals can be submitted in one of the following four priorities:
- Fighting against discrimination based on sexual orientation in society and promoting the rights of LGBTI people.
- Promoting diversity management in the public and private sector: identification of existing practices, measurement of diversity management benefits, and awareness-raising. The proposed activities may be linked to the launch and implementation of Diversity Charters.
- Fighting against discrimination of Roma through: activities aiming to raise awareness and combat harmful stereotypes of Roma and thereby supporting their integration into mainstream society; identify and exchange good practices in fighting discrimination against Roma and anti-gypsyism, in particular in education and housing and promoting the empowerment of Roma (youth and women) as well as their active involvement in the process of Roma integration.
- Raising awareness about intergenerational solidarity and non-discrimination on the basis of age (in particular of young people).
Eligible activities
This call will fund the following activities:
- data collection and survey; monitoring the implementation of non-discrimination legislation;
- training of professionals;
- mutual learning, exchange of good practices, cooperation, including identifying best practices which may be transferable to other participating countries;
- dissemination and awareness raising activities (including at local level), such as seminars, conferences, campaigns or social media and press activities.
Eligible applicants
Applicants and partners must be legally constituted non-profit public or private organisations, or international organisations.
Projects duration
Maximum 24 months
Partnership criteria
Projects can be either national or transnational and must involve at least two organisations based in eligible programme countries: EU Member States, Iceland and Lichtenstein.
Funding
The grant cannot be lower than 75.000 euro or higher than 500.000 euro. The grant cannot cover more than 80% of overall eligible project costs.
