Research Targeted in the Call

ERANET CHIST-ERA, on information and communication sciences and technologies, has published a call for transnational research projects for the following themes:

i) Lifelong Learning for Intelligent Systems

ii) Visual Analytics for Decision-Making under Uncertainty.

The Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO), is a partner in ERANET, and will finance eligible Spanish entities in projects Selected.
On the Spanish side, the financing of MINECO-AIE may cover the participation of universities, OPIS, technological centers and non-profit private research institutions. Although companies may not be beneficiaries in the APCIN call, the Spanish industrial sector is invited to participate in transnational consortiums using its own funds.

Eligibility

The following criteria must be met:

1. The consortium is international:

- It must have a minimum of three partners;  Partners must be located in at least three distinct countries.

2. The consortium is balanced:

- At most 60% of the total funding may be requested by partners from one country

Duration

CHIST-ERA projects have a duration of either 24 or 36 months.
