Introduction
A Kids' Brain Tumor Cure (PLGA Foundation) is a US-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organisation that was founded in 2007 by a group of dedicated parents, physicians and friends to improve the treatment, quality of life, and long-term outlook for children with brain tumours through research, support, education, and advocacy.
The first priority of the foundation is to act as a catalyst for researchers world-wide to turn their attention to the area of paediatric low grade glioma brain tumour research and to award research grants for the most promising programmes and studies.
Grants are available for basic and translational research projects that can advance understanding of the underlying biology of the development and treatment of PLGA tumours.
Budget
The award funding is based on size, impact and complexity of project and is normally between $100,000 and $500,000. Funding can be awarded over one, two or three year periods.

Application
Applicants may submit a 'Letter of Intent' to A Kids' Brain Tumor Cure at any time.
