Objectiu de la convocatòria
The goal of Individual Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers wishing to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition at multi- or interdisciplinary level through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility.
Support is foreseen for individual, trans-national fellowships awarded to the best or most promising researchers for employment in EU Member States or Associated Countries, based on an application made jointly by the researcher and host organisation in the academic or non-academic sectors.
Característiques principals
Fellowships are either:
European Fellowships: European Fellowships are held in EU Member States or Associated Countries and are open to researchers currently within and outside Europe. The country where the European Fellowship is held is subject to the rules of mobility.
Global Fellowships: Global Fellowships are based on a secondment to a third country and a mandatory 12 month return period to a European host. The country where the Global Fellowship secondment takes place is subject to the rules of mobility, whereas the return phase is not.

Dotació
The EU contribution covers a living alllowance, mobility and familiy allowances, and research, training and networking costs. Please see the Specific Provisions and Funding Rates document.
Durada
The duration for European Fellowships (standard EFs, CAR and RI multi-disciplinary panels) is between 12 and 24 months.
For the Global Fellowships there is a first outgoing phase between 12 and 24 months, and an additional mandatory 12 months return phase.
Nota: La convocatoria Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Individual Fellowships (IF) está abierta hasta el día 10 de Septiembre 2015. El requisito principal es que el Investigador no resida en España más de 12 meses durante los últimos 3 años.
La solicitud se hará en conjunto, entre la "Host Institution" y el Post Doc, por lo que él primer paso es tener identificado un Post Doc elegible.
