Introduction:
The EIC Pathfinder is a funding program under Horizon Europe that offers support to research teams to develop the scientific basis underpinning breakthrough technologies. The program is designed for deep-tech projects with a high degree of scientific and technological ambition and risk, with the potential to create new markets.General Description:
The EIC Pathfinder call supports the early development of future technologies, from activities at low Technology Readiness Levels (TRL 1-3) to proof of concept. Projects can receive additional funding to test the innovation potential of their research results. The call doesn't have priority themes. Beneficiaries also have access to a range of tailored Business Acceleration Services (BAS), including access to global partners, mentors, experts, and innovation ecosystems.EIC Pathfinder Challenge: For projects that match any of the predefined thematic areas of the Pathfinder Challenges. The thematics areas are:
-
Biotech for Climate Resilient Crops and Plant-Based Biomanufacturing:
- Objective: Improve the adaptation of climate-resilient crops and develop processes for producing high-value ingredients in plants.
-
Generative-AI based Agents to Revolutionize Medical Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer:
- Objective: Create autonomous agents based on generative AI to provide a comprehensive perspective on patient care in cancer diagnosis and treatment
-
Towards Autonomous Robot Collectives Delivering Collaborative Tasks in Dynamic Unstructured Construction Environments:
- Objective: Develop autonomous robot collectives to perform collaborative construction tasks in dynamic and unstructured environments.
-
