Spinal deformities. Development of new techniques in orthopedic surgery.
Rocío García graduated in Optics and Optometry in 2015 from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). During the last course, she collaborated with the Applied Vision group with the Early Diagnosis of Diabetic Retinopathy project under the supervision of Dr. Shroug M. Aldaham.
In 2017 she finished her Master's degree in Photonics from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). As a master's thesis, she carries out the project "Clinical validation of a fast binocular subjective refraction algorithm" in collaboration with DaValor Salud.
Currently, she works as a research coordinator for this group and she is developing her doctoral thesis Anomalías De La Postura, Y Los Sistemas Visual Y Vestibular, En Pacientes De Escoliosis Idiopática Del Adolescente within the Translational Medicine and Research Doctorate Program of the Universitat de Barcelona (UB).
