Inmaculada Insa Pineda

Dr Imma Insa Pineda is a psychiatrist specialized in adult and child and adolescent psychiatry, working in the child and teenage areas.

She obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona and completed her specialist training at the Institute of Health Assistance (IAS), Parc Hospitalari Martí i Julià. Later, she earned a Master's degree in psychotherapy from the University of Girona and completed postgraduate courses in Group Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, and Brief Strategic Therapy at the same university.

For 11 years, she worked as an assistant psychiatrist in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Center (CSMIJ) in the Sant Joan de Déu Mental Health Network, focusing on neurodevelopmental disorders.

Since May 2021, she has been part of the Unidad Terapéutica Educativa Acompanya'm, appointed director since June 2023, in a pioneering program shared between the Health Department (managed by the SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital), and the Social Services and Family Department, along with the collaboration of the Education Department.
