Maria Lluïsa Tobella Camps

The researcher María Luisa Tobella Camps graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 1982 to specialize in Stomatology in 1984 by the same university. He has a master in Odontopeditaria from the University of Barcelona since 1992 and one in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics since 1992 by the same university.

She has been the tutor of numerous dissertations at the end of the Master in Orthodontics at the University of Barcelona. From 2002 to the present she has been a professor of the Master in the Integral Treatment of dentofacial deformities and malformations in pediatrics.

Since 2018, she has been part of the accredited group AGAUR-SGR / GRE453 "Hospital Dentistry Orthodontic & Periodontal Medicine Research Group (HDCORPEMrg)", linked to the Sant Joan de Déu Research Institute.

Her line of research includes dentomaxilo-facial orthopedic treatment in patients with cleft lip and/or palate and craniofacial malformations.

Orthodontic treatment and three-dimensional surgical planning in patients with craniofacial malformations and dentoskeletal defects.

Study and treatment of patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (SAHOS).
