The researcher Imma Clemente received a degree in Biology from the University of Barcelona in 1982, a bachelor's degree from the University of Barcelona in 1984, and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Barcelona in 1988.
In 1987, she joined the Department of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychobiology of the University of Barcelona as associate professor. Since 2012 she is professor at the University of Barcelona. She is a member of the teaching team of several official masters and doctorates of excellence in biomedicine and medicine and has been a member of the biomedicine doctoral follow-up committee.
