The researcher Victoria Trenchs Sainz de la Maza graduated in medicine in 1998 from the University of Barcelona, obtained her PhD degree from the University of Barcelona in 2008 and obtained the Master's "Methodology of research in Health Sciences" by the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2010
Since 2011 she has been an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona.
Since 2003 she has been a member of the Emergency Services at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu and, since 2011, a pediatric resident tutor at the same Hospital, a Pediatric and Neonatal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Instructor, and a member of the "Research Network" of the “Sociedad Española de Urgencias de Pediatría”.
