Camila García graduated in Medicine in 2010 from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and obtained her degree as a specialist in Paediatrics and its specific areas at the University Hospital Complex of Vigo.
In 2015, she made a stay in the Inborn Errors of Metabolism Unit of the Hospital de Santiago de Compostela under the supervision of Dr. M. Luz Couce Pico.
That same year, in 2015, she joined the Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Service of the SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital, and she has been part of the hospital's Metabolic Unit since then. Hospital is part of the National Reference Centers (CSUR).
Since 2016 she participates teaching a Master in Childhood and Adolescence Care at the Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu (attached to the University of Barcelona)
In 2018, she obtained the Master's degree in Hereditary Metabolic Diseases.
