David Vila Pérez

David Vila has a degree in Medicine in 2006 from the University of Barcelona and a Specialist in Pediatrics at the SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital in 2011. Doctor of Medicine with Excellent cum laude in June 2017.
He has been working at the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital since 2011 as a Doctor of Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Transport of the Medical Emergency Service of Catalonia and as an adjunct doctor of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. He is accredited as a Pediatric Intensivist by the Spanish Society of Pediatric Intensives and a member of the Quick Response Group of the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital for Diseases with high Contagiosity.
He is a collaborating researcher in three funded clinical trials and principal investigator and collaborator of several non-competitive projects in the national field and coordinator of a multicenter study in Pediatric Intensive Care through the Spanish Society for Pediatric Intensive Care (SECIP). He has authored several national and international publications (ORCID ID: http://orcid.org/0000-0002-8775-693X), with more than 30 submissions to national and international congresses.
Actively participates in Scientific Societies as a Member of the Catalan Society of Pediatrics, the Spanish Society of pediatric intensive care and the Catalan Society of Intensive and Critical Medicine and coordinator of the group of pediatric intensive Catalan Pediatric Society during years 2014, 2015 and 2016.
He gives lectures and lectures on courses related to pediatric intensive care, especially in the areas of simulation, ultrasound and infectious diseases (Pediatrics Room SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital). Instructor Advanced Life Support in Trauma Pediatric since 2014 Instructor in advanced simulation Pediatric accredited by the Boston Children's Hospital Simulator Program since 2015 Instructor of Surgery Pediatric and Neonatal accredited by the Catalan Council Resuscitation, el grupo español CPR and the European Resuscitation Council since 2017.
He currently works as an Assistant Physician as a Specialist in the Pediatric Intensive Care Service of the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital in care and teaching functions from July 2011 to the present, he is also an Assistant Doctor as a Specialist in the Pediatric Medical Emergency Service of the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital (indicative: SEM-19 / YP02 / BP62) from July 2011 to the present. He guards as a Specialist in the Pediatric Intensive Care Service and the Pediatric Medical Emergency Service of the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital from July 2011 to the present. He is the coordinator of the section of Pediatric Interhospital Transfers and Pediatric Consultant in the Medical Emergency Service of Catalonia from June 2017 to the present.
