The researcher Blanca Mellor Marsa has a degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid (2008), a specialist in Clinical Psychology and an expert in Strategic Brief Therapy. She has a degree in Social Psychology and is a specialist in Eating Disorders and Personality Disorders. She is a member of the COP (Madrid) and qualified for clinical practice.
The researcher completed the Master in Research Methodologies of Behavioral and Health Sciences, Autonomous University of Madrid (2013). She is a Cum Laude Doctor from the Department of Psychiatry of the UAM (2017).
During the 2007-2008 academic year she made a stay at the La Sapienza University of Rome where she began his research career in the line of criticism of Diagnostic Classifications within the Department of Philosophy of Psychiatry. In 2013 she completed a training stay at the Gregorio Marañon Hospital, Madrid, for training in clinical evaluation in the context of the first psychotic episodes.
She is a professor in the Master in Personality Disorders and the Master in Eating Disorders (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
She currently evaluates patients in the context of different programs on first psychotic episodes in the public sphere. She also serves at the Integral Blue Health Care clinic as a psychologist and works as a private psychotherapist.
