Marta Gómez-Chiari graduated in Medicine in 1997 from the Javeriana University (Bogotá-Colombia) and obtained her Paediatrics degree from the Javeriana University (Bogotá-Colombia) in 2001. In 2004, she obtained the Master's degree in Paediatric Gastroenterology from the University of Barcelona and the radiology degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2012.
She has also obtained the European Certification as Neuroradiology (EDiNR) in 2015 and Child Neuroradiology (EDPiNR) in 2017.
During the months of July and August 2019, she stayed at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, as part of the visiting fellowship program Derek Harwood-Nash scholarship, within the Paediatric Neuroradiology Staff.
In 2016, she joined the Image Diagnostic Service of the SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital as an assistant, as Neuroradiology for Children.
