Rodrigo A Lima, Ph.D. has a background in physical education and a PhD in Health Sciences. Besides a postdoctoral researcher at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, he is also affiliated with the Centre for Biomedical Network Research on Mental Health (CIBERSAM), and serves as the Spanish representative of the School Mental Health International Leadership Exchange - an international body that focus on the promotion of mental health in schools. Dr Lima also acts as an editorial board member at BMC Public Health and the Journal of Physical Activity and Health.
His main research interest is on the promotion of mental health and the prevention of mental problems in children and adolescents. Currently, he is the scientific coordinator of the IMPROVA project and the Principal investigator of ePro-Schools - both are EU funded projects that aim to promote health and wellbeing among youth through the implementation of an eHealth intervention program at secondary schools.
